Low Carb Vegetarian

Recently, I have been researching the low carb vegetarian dieting and I’m finding there are a good many people that enjoy the low carb lifestyle who are also vegetarians.  I’m not sure about going totally meatless myself, but there are attributes to the lifestyle. Someone shared their thoughts with me recently and I thought I would share them here….

I am a vegetarian who has been low carb dieting for 3 years. I find that this lifestyle suits my current goals. I have already lost 40 pounds, and while on the diet have come up with a variety of menus which can be interchanged with meat. Cheese, beans and eggs are my new best friends. I don’t even miss all of the unnecessary carbs. Go to your local health food store and ask for supplements for sugar, bread and flour. You will be surprised at what you will find. Good luck!
